Mission Statement

Our Core Values

The Scope Of Our Activities

The Recovery Method “Telford Mind operates its services within the framework of the ‘Recovery Model’. This means that it views service users as people who are genuinely capable of progress and growth, rather than simply seeing them as passive recipients of care, often with little hope for the future. Recovery means being committed to the user’s right to privacy, dignity, choice, fulfilment and independence…..”

Confidentiality & Access To Service Records “Telford Mind believes that every service user has a right to privacy. All Telford Mind staff have a duty to keep personal information about service users safe and confidential. Service users need to know that they can trust staff if they are discussing personal or sensitive matters with them…”

Our Quality Policy “Telford Mind works to the standards set by National Mind, ‘Quality Management in Mind’ and self assesses annually against those standards, ensuring that it meets the minimum required at level one of the standards whilst aspiring to attain the higher levels….”

Challenging Behaviour. “Telford Mind recognises that people with mental health issues present little or no risk to the personal safety of others. However in circumstances where challenging or aggressive behaviour is being demonstrated by a service user the organisation has an obligation to ensure that reasonable measures are taken to manage the situation, prevent harm and to maintain the welfare of all parties…”
